The short version
Your PDFs and images are processed in your browser. They are not uploaded to FileKit, and we cannot view or recover them.
File processing
PDF and image operations run locally using your browser's resources. Selected files remain on your device and leave the page when you close or refresh it.
Finished documents are saved through your browser's standard download process.
Data collection
FileKit does not require an account and does not intentionally collect the contents, names, or metadata of files you select.
Technical data
Our hosting provider may process standard server logs such as IP address, browser information, requested URL, and timestamps for security and reliable operation. These requests do not contain your locally processed files.
Third parties
The application does not use third-party file processing, analytics, payment, or authentication services by default.
Security
Local processing significantly limits file exposure. You should still use a trusted device and an up-to-date browser when handling sensitive documents.

We may update this policy when the application changes. The latest revision date will always appear at the top of this page.
